About the Indian Students Association

The Indian Students Association (ISA), is an international student organization which furthers the interaction between the Indian students, members of the Indian community in Blacksburg and South-West Virginia with the spirit of Virginia Tech. The ISA is a platform for displaying the rich and varied culture and heritage of India as well as encourage students to integrate within the American way of life.

The ISA forms the largest international group on campus with over 600 individuals, consisting of students and families, participating in socio-cultural events each year. We are a strictly secular, non-profit and non-political organization. We sponsor a wide variety of events, including celebration of Indian festivals, volunteer activities for spreading awareness about India, as well as a forum for promoting individual talent.
